Below, is my first try at paper piecing using a stamped image. I used one of my new My Favorite Things stamp sets. I cut the umbrella out, colored it with my Prisma pencils. I also covered it with diamond glaze and sprinkled very fine glitter on it to add a touch of bling. Once it dried I used pop up dots to give a 3-d effect.
The next one, I used the same stamps but used patterned paper for the umbrella.

The paper piecing is very nice. I really like the orange awning, it just makes the card have a special 'pop'!
cutting is one of my all time favorite techniques...I do it all the time...very nice job on these cards! *~*
